Lol, I'd forgotten about that! That battery is dead now though
Not sure why i died, but I used it for 5 years in Kar, and it certaintly wasn't new then!

Well, I might be persuaded to join.......... I wouldn't enter the car at the moment anyway, even if I was a member. Will I need to wear a big brightly coloured flag or something to inform the VOC I'm a not a paid up member and I'm scum who frequents V3M? LOL

hi guys!
unfortunately the 66 wont be coming as one of the metal vacuum pipes above the gearbox is broken.
so I'll be coming along in the gold 340... ideally i'd give it a clean but its raining here in manchester....
look forward to meeting you all soon
PS The vaccum pipe for the 66, early 343 and post 1985 340s are different ( CVT gearbox ). However, Ive found a hydraulic company that can make replacement copied pipes for £30 each.
anyone planning on going to the VEC meet on the 2nd July?

long shot... anyone got a spare vaccum pipe? actually, whilst Im asking for golddust I might as well as for the power steering kit for the 1.4 340 whilst Im here... oh yeah and a leather interior hee hee!!
