pettaw wrote:OK, so it looks like Bruntingthorpe seems the better value and sounds like a great day to me.

Lets try and get some names down, cos if we get enough people, Ali might be able to get a group discount. So add your name to the list.

Confirmed names:
Pettaw
Foggyjames (possibly)

Just thought i'd say i'm planning on a day at Llandow sometime in the new year (janurary probably) in the 360, if anyone wants to join me. It's normaly about £65 for a whole day (open pitlane) and it's a good little track, great for learning about you're cars level of grip.

Alright guys,

Haven't been on for a while again, just thought i'd give you guys a heads up, I went and did a dirty Neeesan owners club trackday the other week at Curborough sprint track in Lichfield, found out its £500 to rent for the whole day, 9am - 5pm, only one car allowed out on track at once so take it in turns to do 3 laps or something. Max 15 cars, which worked really well as queue time was around 15mins, even less as the day went on and people couldn't be bothered to go out for more runs.

I'd say its perfectly suited to the 300's, most corners were about 40-60ish, good run off space and a decent length straight to get to about 90ish (although possibly not in a 300 :P )

So thats like £34 per person, might be worth organising a day up there? Even if there wasn't 15 people its still really not that expensive! 10 people at £50 each for a whole day of track time! Also no helmets or other fancy things required, just turn up, sign your life away and drive!

When I work out where Lichfield is, I'd imagine I'd be keen for this buddy! Hmmm, 40-60 mph corners, can't be tooo tiny a track then, got any pics/vids?

Lichfield is just north of Birmingham. It sounds very appealing to me. Thanks for that Ali....a very good "head's up"!
