Agreed.
Without a bit of control then the threads will all end up going completely off topic, and so 6 months down the line when I want to find information about an odd symptom I'd seen recently I know where to look, and wont be accosted by pictures of boring, FWD, froggy trash on every page!
*David doesn't like french cars, as they are badly made, smelly, and surrender whenever they see anything german!*
That said, there are other forums that are far too heavily moderated (barryboys springs instantly to mind) and so you end up with the first page of every forum with 8 stickies, 4 topics with 200 pages of replies and then 38 locked threads, and we don't want to end up in that situation.
To prevent that, it's easy. Stick to the topic, if there's something that arises from a discussion that's going to have some length to it, either do it somewhere else (citroenBXmania.com or something) or make a new thread in the general discussion forum!
Oh, and I probably wont be free between Christmas and New Year, but if it's possible, I'll definitely come!
