Hi James, I know where you are coming from , I have five kids ,19,16,14,10and 7 hence the toyota lucida on the drive, The 19 year old has passed his test and ,as some on this forum know, shamed the family by being given a co*"a.The 300 was bought purely to run my foster son to and from boarding school in Coventry but hopefully he will soon be in school in MK which means 250 miles a week less going on the old girls clock (thank god ) again I wish you all the best in selling the car it do's look nice

I think those seats are excellent, practical too, as leather normally wears through on the edges as people get in and out of the seat. A nice car, not really seen many 3 door GLT's either. Good luck and I hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it.

I'd like it, but sadly, I really can't afford to insure a 360 - I know it wouldn't cost much more to run than my 345, and that makes it even worse :(

Some folk here (Hugh?) have actually reported that a 360 can be cheaper to insure than a 340! But that's insurance companies for you...

That's certainly a tight car, and a 3dr GLT is indeed a rare item. Someone will be getting a nice piece of kit there. I think AC may have been offered as an option in 87 (it was certainly available for 86...albeit maybe only on special editions, rather than as an option on any 360 model), but if it was available, it was almost certainly very expensive and out of the norm on a car of this size at that time, hence its rarity (and my interest!).

Good luck with selling it. If I were in the market for a 360 at the moment, I'd buy it. It's almost tempting given that my doors are rotting (and it's in the right colour!), since 3-dr doors are far more resilliant / better designed!

I'm not going to put a price on it, but (with the exception of the age and thus slightly less than optimal equipment levels) judging by the desription and pictures, it's about as good as 360s come...and the price ought to reflect that.

cheers

My offer of 100 quid was refused then I guess :P sm56

Jokes aside...I think the only real problem is that we have 300s already, alot of people with more than one! Alot recently bought too, Id've bit your arm off a couple of months ago for it!! Just don't stick it on ebay!

Hi, sorry i've been missing the fun, i've been on hols :)

I'm in a bit of a dilema as i'm very interested in the car, but depends on what i can do with my current other car (its quite confusing!).

Also depends on price. If i were to offer £250 would you be interested?

Has it got an MoT/tax BTW?

Errr, sorry but you're 4 days too late !

The car was only 8 miles away & when I went to see it, I had to have it as it was 99.9 % rust free, including front valance ! Needs a good clean, couple of dents, blowing exhaust, broken aerial & mud flap + bonnet is full of scratch's but a very good base car.

Will keep you informed of further developments........................

TTFN,

John.
Current : No 300's anymore !
