Jan 6th:At Michael Douglas's (not that one, the other one). Unfortunately, there were no new 300s in (a couple of years back there were six) and the two that were there were both 360s. I think both of them were there last year too. Nice of them to hang on to the oldies a bit longer.

The GLS turned up October/November 2010 I recall, so was fairly fresh in when I saw it December 2010. I had all the locks (it was a two-key car), various bits of trim, clocks, driveshafts. For any one interested it still has the motor/torque tube/gearbox/diff in it.

1986 340DL 1.4: D425 PLG. Nearly de-badged 3-door (only had the last "VO" on the back) and windows heavily tinted. Anyone know the car or owner? (I didn't see anyone around)

Could this be the first one spotted on a news report since the late 90's

Spotted in Caversham (Reading) Waitrose car park yesterday evening, bizarrely 2 minutes after I'd driven past another 5 door 340, G reg, which was loaded with ladders and looked like it was being used by a window cleaner. Couldn't stop to snap that one, though. This one in the pictures is particularly pleasing to me as it still has the orginal dealer number plates (Lex Brooklands of Reading, the same dealer as mine), and the number is very similar to mine (D47 VCF).




This is a 1.7 340 GLE - had a leather interior too like mine, very posh.

I haven't seen a 300 in a good 6 months, then two within a couple of minutes. Odd.

Funny also to see that red one in the news report above in Henley - I only live a couple of miles from there and visit often, but I've never seen that one. I presume it's a local car.

Just spotted a 300 tonight on Milton Road in Cambridge, coming into town from the Ely direction. Very nice condition grey/blue 5-door 340 GL, G590 CEV.

I know it's not a 300 but there's a 244 saloon on son of the mask, with hydraulics, at the party where he first wears the mask I'm sure you all appreciate the 200's so I thought I'd throw this is
