Am I missing something here? That eBay car was registered 18/08/1982, a very early Y plate. This would make it 82 model year like mine.
Therefore door trims like this:
and dash like this:
So what's the difference between 1980 MY (Sep 79 - Aug 80) and 1982 MY (Sep 1981 - Aug 1982) in the trim department?
Hell Driver says they have different door internals and cards. Looking at yours it seems as thought mk2 cards would fit/all would work as it is supposed to but mk1 stuff wouldn't?
From what I understand they are a lot more basic card wise, but would there really be so many variants?

Best appreciated when open.
I probably should have specified ladies legs in there too. [+=] "embarrarrased emoticon"[].com
Once again I'm half asleep. Yes they will fit my 1980 car then. I assumed that as a Y reg its got the later trim. Just going by my 83 (Y) 360 with the quarter lights and the later trim. Forgot the model years don't coincide with registration years
In that case, they are no good for anything later (ie. an A reg ) Unless you keep the older trim on the doors. Would still be a pity to take them off the car (as long as a potential new owner isn't going to strip it all out anyway). Wreaking one original (and better condition) car to restore another one seams a bit of a waste (although it would be in the cause of saving a Mk1)
He's added quite a bit more to his items for sale Special edition bumpers from a 340 being one item, I guess they're from the one which donated it's leather?
He told me he has had 3 GLT's in the past, so seems to have some handy stuff let.
