MStools2? How does that work? Sorry I've no personal experience apart from reading the manual on the website, with a view to getting myself prepared for installing it so that everything hopefully goes smoothly, so the following comments are only from what I've read.

Because the 800-40ohms thing is so different from the default resistor in the voltage divider, you're apparently going to get a poor resolution over the working range of the circuit, even if you remap the correct temperatures using Easytherm.

It works pretty much same like Easytherm, you set 3 temps and it calculates map based on those.

I don't know if there is something else involved to that area, but there is plenty of guys that has just made new map.

+1 is around 3500 ohms, and it goes quite high when getting colder, not idea how high anyway.

My Ms kit has arrived today! Once I paid the 20 quid dreaded import VAT (humph).

The engine is also going in this weekend. MS won't be ready for a few weeks cos I'll be far too busy to put it together.

Update, MS is soldered together and seems to be working well on the stim. I've now got one stage further, I bought a scrappy ECU to cannibalise the connector, so now a few more components (o2 sensor and tps/air intakes) and a bit of wiring needed.
