Thanks to Iain ( and thanks also to Pete for his offer ) and postman Pat I now have a nice fully working dash ( well except for handbrake light not working ) so where dos the other end of the econometer tube go ? I saw Adam post something about the brake vacuum hose but am not keen on this as if anything went wrong it may effect braking , Where is it meant to go and what do I need to fit it ( bearing in mind its a 1.7 )

Its tomorrow , well actually its today but it would have been tomorrow yesterday , I want to fit my econometer FOGGY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Courtesy of Dan_F on the VOC forum a lonnnng time (3-4 years?) ago!

Edit: I suggest the addition of a small/thin filter to that vacuum line, as most of the clogged ones seem to come from B172 cars.

The cluster has to be faced down to remove through the top hole in steering wheel is one!!!

That wasn't on my list, but true.

My two were the "B17" (no, not the de-stroked B19 "it'll run on piss" 1.7 litre redblock), and the B200K, with the wrong manifold/carb. If it had that setup, it'd be a B200A (which never existed AFAIK, but the B230A did...for about a year before the B230K came along).
