Can I suggest after Christmas as those of us who are students won't have any projects then, and the second installment of the student loan arrives
Just looking at the locations of those interested based in the midlands, we have a couple from 2 Brum, Derbyshire and Shropshire and one from Nottingham and me in Staffordshire, so I'd suggest draw a ring between these places and choose somewhere in the middle.

Or Brum as it's easy to get to, but not as rural and scenic...
Oh and remember I need a train station

Much as I'm trying to resist, it does actually seem like quite a good idea that. Might not work for those coming from daaarn saaaarf though. Question is...will it be in Nessy or the 360? Or both...?!
cheers

Good idea, would be good to have a nose arround as a group, and would be something to do, albeit a bit cold. I keep hearing someone mention a good scrapyard in Stoke on Trent, not sure that it's a Volvo scrapyard though.

There is a Volvo Prts/repairs/breakers in Stoke.
Jump on the A50 heading east and come off at the Meir tunnel exit (Cheddleton exit). Gon straight over the roundabout and back down the sliproad to rejoin the A50 and they are on the left before the sliproad ends.
I'm not sure what they're called, or how good they are - 've just seen them from the A50.
