I'm not at all mechanically minded, but I can't help thinking that 1.4 is the way to go here - the engine is significantly smaller than the 1.7. Some people on here have done some pretty impressive things with the little 1396cc lump, plus road tax is cheaper

I'm not at all mechanically minded, but I can't help thinking that 1.4 is the way to go here - the engine is significantly smaller than the 1.7. Some people on here have done some pretty impressive things with the little 1396cc lump, plus road tax is cheaper

yep 1.4 or nothing, as for the road tax it will only be 60 quid a year cos
