Hi mate.
Glad you and your mate walked away from the wreckage.
As Chris says, strip as much of the car as you can store.
I think there is a race on here to see who can get the most rare parts
and i think VND is winning
Your English is exellent and good luck with the next one.
Cheers Mark.

Despite I'm absolutely agree with respecting all the alternatives, I must express my personal regret to this kind of destiny for the Volvo 300 Series.
Here, in Spain, is extremely difficult to find a 360 GLT in decent condition. I guess than less than fifty of these cars are still alive in the whole country. Then, you can imagine that is necessary to be very lucky to get a unit with PAS or A/C.
While I have been more than two years searching for an interesting Volvo 360 unit in order to restore it to 'new' condition, our mate has destroyed one car and has seriously conditioned the future of another one, both GLT and equipped with PAS and A/C. And last, but not least, his red 360 is the only one that I have ever known in this country with body kit and rear wiper.
Here you can check the original state, three years ago, when he bought the car:

And here, the current aspect, finally for sell:

Please, do not misunderstand me, I'm posing it on a friendly way but even respecting that anyone is free to take any decisions about owned properties, I can not be happy with this approach.
Best regards and wishes for everybody

Its an argument we've had many many times here friend.
And I agree with you, to a point.
But if someone buys a car, it becomes THEIR car.
And they can do what they want with it.
This forum is for everyone, and as in any comunity there will be differences in what individuals think is the "right" thing to do.
And like society itself, we can either embrace our differences, or fall divided.
Anyone who loves 300s is ok in my book. Cars get crashed on the road, and on the track. Its never on purpose.

sorry maybach if you don,t like what i do with it, the grey one was a normal glt and the red one yes is mine too and wasn,t so good but it would be a very good option for your purpouse, but not for mine.
here in spain you can buy a mint condition glt for less than 1000 euros, with "everything" (not bodykit), but i had luck.
i have another 2 friends with 360glt bought for less than 1000 one 3 doors and another one 5, 10 times better condition than mine, bought recently.
if you look for it you can find.
another person distroid my first 360, and i haven,t seriously conditioned the future of another one, i give to the car all i have, to have fun with it but i ask to the car another conditions it haven,t got and i try finding stripping lowering ...
