I would have forgiven you if you were in a 340 at 6am!
No, I did not get some bargains for my home, I was in fact on my way to Llanfechell to visit my grandmother, and my eagle eyes spotted the 340 in the car park and I just couldn't resist making a U turn to go back and have a proper snoop around.

A proper one still 'in the wild' - I even spotted the elderly lady owner as I was driving away, complete with rain hat!
That one belongs to a old lady friend of mine!
I got a call a couple of months ago explaining that she would have to scrap the car because the strut was broken! She had been tod there was no way she would ever be able to get it fixed and no way to get a part. Lucky she found me and I was able to fit it for her. Last week I was over to fix a broken mirror. I think I have some photos of teh car I hope

I think we are probably getting to the stage that there are few cars out there in the wild which aren't known to us enthusiasts now, due to (supposed) scarcity of parts.
Yes, it does look lovely and the seller has the right attitude!! I will ogle this intensely later - someone must save it. On the phone my saloon detector goes off, but maybe that's just the angle and petrol blue (I think) has to be a winner.... Now on a proper compie and its looking charcoal grey rather than blue and I still can't tell if its hatchback or saloon.

I think it's a saloon but it is difficult to be sure. The roof is higher over the gutter rail towards the back on a saloon, this looks like it is. Also look at bumper to wheel arch gap at the back.
Forgot to say last Sunday a black 360 GLT Saloon down in Cornwall, lowered wide wheels (couldn't see if they were banded steels or something else) but they were poking out from under the arches. Looked brilliant, I was going the opposite way in a red Saab 9000.
