ha ha haaa! VND, brilliant.
Got a larger rad I bought off MCHUDD ages ago, and a dual rad set-up. It won't be in for awhile, as money is tight, and I need the car for driving. That, and it'll involve re-doing pipe work to make it neater. The rad on there at the mo is in dire need of replacing, as it's been leaking slightly ever since I put the F7R in. As it's coming up to winter now, I'll need to get it done soon.
Also went to my second Area 52 meeting, which again, was brilliant.
Where I got rid of some terrible crumbly sound deadening!
and a great forza "star in a reasonably priced car" sesh was had, with speedy coming out top!
I'm going to cancel my propshaft "building", as they are just taking the piss now. it's been 4 months, and all I've seen is a busted gearbox, and going back and forth.

Shame to hear about the prop dude
Area 52 looks super awesome, would love to make it up one day and see what it's all about!

Looks
too awesome IMO. I'm all for knowing where your gear is and not working in a shit tip, but they can't get much done there!
Car is looking great btw John, been catching up on it. Agreed on the prop shame. You kids will hopefully have something sorted in the near future!

This weekend we didn't, only some general maintainance on a few cars. I blame the xbox

And maybe a certain bottle of Jamesons...

Charlie, The clips that go on the rad are the perfect size for the rad's height. I'll space them out a little from the rad, and drill through the top and bottom rad lip (not part of the water ways) and bolt it there. I'll make a small bracket to support them in the middle too.
Fitted some QR bumper clips today, bargain, and it means I can wip the bumper off quick without faffing with removing the bolt covers and undoing 4 bolts. Wasn't sure how they'd hold, whether it'd be really loose. but it's really not!! It's not coming off any time soon of it's own accord!

I'll get some pics when it's day light and not raining.
I also got a full refund from the prop company, so that's brilliant! So coilovers and a full brake overhaul will be done soon. probably after crimbo, as it's pretty busy this year! New copper lines, hydraulic hand brake, braided lines, and separate rear brake lines (i.e. instead of going from the line to rear, through the RH wheel cylinder, along the axle and to the LH cylinder, it'll go line to the rear, t-piece and both cylinders at the same time). I'll also get a new M/C, as the one at the mo is very crusty.

Coming along! Not sure on the bumper clips though, the front bumper is probably the single most easy body part to remove from these

It's even easier now!!

Insta cooling for drifting was the reasoning behind it.

Just had a read through this mate and I gotta say nice work mate! You Motorsport Engineering students make me sick! So sick I hope to get into Derby uni and do it myself! My mate Ash is in his second year there so fingers crossed I can get in and do my Access to Higher Education Diploma and crack on! I'll know more in March.
