Epic Photos Tom.
Looks like the weather was with you.
I like that your hands encountered fatiuge before the volvo did.

Cheers Ben

Had a day of rain which cought us a bit unprepared, and all the stuff in our tent got soaked! No fatigue in the Volvo (except the ever-increasing rust) but the A/C compressor failed just before we set off, which was a bit of a bummer after all the effort taken to fit it

Rest of the car didn't miss a beat though.

New bird has risen
That was sitting next to my door late last evening/early night, took pic with 55mm lens, that was so close that I could easily touch it if I wanted to, it was not scared at all, just sit and watched the new world it saw first time.

I doubt that as it is somewhere around 2 weeks old, just there learned to fly and flew out from nest. Really bad timing for bird as it was thunder and heavy rain later at night.

Finnish flash
Still too slow for me, taken with DSLR and kit lens, no tripod, no any helping aids, it is not easy to catch one

Speedy, nice pics there from beautiful place
Nature shows it's affection to me bit different way, by biting
This photo is taken from underside of my warehouse, used webcam and motion detection Linux software called motion running on old laptop that writes jpegs and video when motion is detected, one can get quite different shots of nature with such setup. I call that creature shyfoot, cat is so shy, that when sees human being from 20 meters away it panics and runs away, now I have ran into him few times at warehouse, spooked poor thing quite badly as it did not notice me until I was right next ot it (ninja perk with silent running

). Now I did activate trap to access hole of cat as that thing really needs vet care, fur missing at tip of tail etc. However it is so shy that only peeks from hole now as seen from photo, once it did enter inside too, but mostly first thing at the morning it does is to check that place, then 2nd time late at evening, with camera set up I have been able to pinpoint schedule of that thing, works as well as public transport, but quite predictable thing, 4 visits in 24 hours, around 5 hours between visits, each other time checks up that hole

My latest tank

Which is mainly to house my (as of 10 days ago) breeding colony of red cherry shrimp... which are swines to take photos off!

One of my cousin's baby

And a baby trainset I got to play with last weekend

Lovely clarity and colours in your photos Chris, playing with train makes man's day perfect
I haven't got out to take photos lately, it has been rather hot and my camera has serious trouble with dust, so pics are not coming out proper way, would need lot of editing to get rid of all and I have not been able to clean sensor, so it has caused quite serious lack of motivation.
So I have only this pic of that feral cat that is slowly starting to trust my trap, so maybe I can set it up some day

Stealing your sausages? No way, it was that other guy, honestly. Busted by modern technology

Quite liked the sky on this one... taken at Witley Court, Worcestershire - a derelict statley manor which was devestated by fire in the 1930's, now owned by English Heritage
