That spider pic is great!

It seems I forgot to post these pics I was supposed to post couple of months ago.. Last times when boating was possible before winter. :P

Taken at coastal area of Inkoo, Finland.

Here's also one nice pic I like.. I took it some time during the spring. Driving the GLT along the Turku-highway.

Our trees are rather large, or our fighters rather small?

Really crappy pic, too high ISO, too much humidity in athmosphere, too much light pollution:

Been playing with a bit of flash photog recently, plan to wash Fake and have a go with her soon too. Flash is an old film jobbie, set flash settings, shutter held open on the camera whilst I run around pressing the test button on the flash ;) Much better than paying 200 quid for a Canon flash

I usually set flash to Rear and reduce it's power by two-three steps, then forget it and use those settings to all my photos taken with flash.

Tape + piece of white paper is one of best investments when doing flash shots, just make it look like old sail ship sail, then adjust power setting, makes quite nice diffuser, if power is not enough, you can always get chip&fish, then use chip on paper to make it semi transparent

Real thing is not too expensive on dealextreme.com , but in case you are cheapskate as I'm.

With flash never use direct illumination, bounce it if possible, it is quite nice toy indeed, had one old film flash, but once it came apart when I was just putting it on shelf, can't really understand how it broke into several pieces without any use of force, but I guess it had time.

Regular white umbrella is quite nice tool too, if you happen to find one, you need just to tape flash inside of that and you have nice 'pro' umbrella flash, might need some playing with to get effect right, but there is world of almost free improvements available to flash.

I took at morning 66 photos and I'm still trying to make panorama out of them, managed to get finally at least some picture, but there are several things wrong within it, more work needed, it is real pain to get 3D panorama from snow landscape, there just are no details, well unique details that is.

Very nice Chris! So crisp and clean, I like the MGB pic very much. I have to get a camera which can take decent photos in low light conditions.. :P

I snapped some quick shots today when I was driving to Forssa. (I'm doing some work for my masters degree here few days a week..) Not as much snow here but it's colder than in Helsinki. :P Temp meter shows -19C currently.

Yes, 12th day it was very close to moon. BTW here Markantalo shop sells New Canon flashes for bit over 100 euros, maybe you have some similar shops that sell stuff at really low price at times?

Yeah, we do, but it's a rare thing and never ties up with when I have spare pennies...

I'm going to ignore the other comments ;)

You have stolen my problem then

What other comments? All I see is some random noise, must be too high ISO mode....

Like my moon, too high ISO and there is lot of random noise:
