Do you chaps know there's a VW camper event on at Haynes this weekend called Vanwest (www.vanwest.net)? I like this comment about the Haynes museum:

"With more than 340 cars... displayed in stunning style"

Don't expect there to be a lot of room in the car park... I don't know at which point you're expected to pay but there's a £5 entry fee on Sunday to get into the show - if it's on the gate of the car park then everyone would have to cough up.

I'm going to be going along to the Vanwest show, so maybe I'll see some of you there (in the 480 though, vacuum leak not sorted yet).

Erm, ahh, no, knew nothing of that Ah well, more to look at! I'd love a 480 on a day like today, must be great to have a paddling pool built into the boot

My paddling pool doesn't appear to be fully plumbed-in yet. Maybe in time for next summer... (although I haven't owned a car for much longer than 6 months for the past 3 years, so maybe I'll never experience that pleasure).

I won't be there...one too many trips down the M5...

Whats with this test track? Can I drive on it?
The purpose built tarmac test track is available to anyone with a full driving licence at £1 a lap. Open from 2pm to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 1pm Sunday. Please note that a disclaimer must be signed. Maximum two people per vehicle
