the GTi rep passed its mot today so is now up for sale £600.00 ono if anyone knows of someone looking for a cheap car to tax and insure

You are rich sir, when viewed from this side of screen, my income is £488 in a month, covers expenses just and just, my hobby is non existent at the moment as can't afford gas or insuranceredline wrote: I'm not boasting but our monthly income is about £4,500 after tax however our mortgage is £1,000 a month before all our other household and motoring bills ,
we are not rich just comfortable so the cars are very much a hobby and not a means of earning a living , I wish they were

This sounds similar number what we have here, one of my friend had to do precise calculations and proof buy and selling prices because he sold and bought so many cars, here they count buying and selling as 2 events, don't you just love our bureaucrats ?foggyjames wrote:I believe the current rules are 5-6 cars in a year...but I'm not sure![]()
cheers

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT!! selling cars i meanredline wrote:not just yet I hope ,I have a mate that do's the cars up with me ,
of the cars I have sold this year,
the redline and the calibra were mine any way and I had owned them for over 6 months each so they don't count ,
my son Chris owned the golf 4+e and the Gti was registered straight to his name ,
I have kept the driver auto
the 1.3 GTi rep is in my mates name
so the one I pick up tomorrow is the first one that anyone can say I have bought purely to sell on in my name ,
mind you |I could register it in my dads name , he's 79 and dosen't drive anymore lol.
I am thinking of taking this to the next level with my mate by getting a unit.
that way we can do more than one car at a time and not clutter up our driveways ,
have storage for parts saved from scrappers to sell on ebay to generate more income ,
I might even start on other cars ( unfortunately theres not enough profit in 300's except for spare parts )
