If you count your neighbours driveway as a free parking spot (like I did...

) there are enough spaces indeed...

Only yesterday a neighbour came up to me and said "you're on foot? With your three cars?" Since I had two cars parked outside his house at the time, I didn't push the point that I've got 5 cars ATM

first badge of powdercoated parts was ready today

next week the rest is done but those parts aren't for the 343 (neither is 80% of these tbh

)
what was part of this pile of parts is the airfilterhousing! (and another one for a V3C 343 owner)
all seperate parts:
recirculation valve:
inner work assembled and adjusted:
new cagenuts, found in my nuts n bolts stockpile
and the whole thing in one piece:
neirly finished, the housing will be completed with the famous stickerkit from Robbert-Jan Veraa offcourse!!
i was also having a bit of starting problems a few weeks ago, i never got to fixing it and all work was done in a rush; last week i saw the points were burned in so i replaced them. the bitch still didn't start so today i got all spare parts to refurbish the distributor and took it off the engine; half hour ago i looked at it for a minute and noticed the points were adjusted at 4mm

no wonder the bitch doesn't start!
still gonna refurb the thing on sunday, if it won't start at the end of that day i'll convert the thing to Renix fridayafternoon

that's true

the 300 series is the only thing about volvo that i like
so this afternoon i took on the ignition part of things, cleaned the distributor; placed new points + adjusted them, new condenser; plugs, leads, dizzy and rotor arm.
put the distributor back in place and timed it:
then i sat down, pulled out the choke and started it, barely 2 cranks later it went perfectly!
placed the powdercoated airfilterhousing:

there is a brandnew winged-nut going onto the rear of it, detailwork counts
then desided to take it for a spin since it performes nice again
it drives awesome, nowhere near as good as the 340Turbo in terms of power, handling etc but it's just a perfect car for comfy cruising; sitting back and relax.

doesnt that reflectorplate make the car illegal man?
dont you need the rear plate to be displayed at all times?

i just threw it on there to see how the rear would look. if you place the reflectorplate the license plate has to be placed somewhere else, for example below the right side of the bumper; you also have to get lighting to it.

I hadnt considered the lighting issue too.
Lot of trouble to go to really.
It looks cool.
But not THAT cool.
