I dont understand any of the technicalities man, but that looks very cool.
Its gonna be fun moving moving that white dot around once its live on the car.
Also, now I know where to go for my vehicle mounted cannon electronic aiming mechanism.

haha should be fun like
Ordered some 175/55/15's for the cups and a new backbox which should be a bit sportier.
Gearbox all back together and the diff stuck on, touched up the yellow paint too

Gear linkage brackets for torque tube should be fabbed tomorrow if i dig the welder out and the belhousing might be of by the evening

lol cheers mate!
So been trying to crack on with this, weather, strength and a short temper have hindered progress slightly
Got all but one bell housing bolt out, its the one next to the crank position sensor on the driver's side thats hidden under the heater pipe, just can't get to it with the tools i have. Gona disconnect the pipe on monday as im away for the weekend :/ and try it after that. Its got no coolant in anyway as it needs a new waterpump gasket after i never put a new one on after the head gasket.
Reckon the prop is stuck in the clutch plate it's self so its probably beyond re-use, i'll see when i get the bell housing off anyway.
Pics:
Once the car is back out it's having presents bought for it, some of which i've bought already - mainly to re-motivate my self into working on it after getting annoyed at not managing very well at fixing things.

So got all the Bellhosing bolts out, but now it doesn't clear the car. Seems to get stuck on the brake lines and some of the bulkhead :/ Thinking it's because the prop's still in there. It turns so must be stuck in the clutch plate it's self.
Pics:

See the brake line top left, and the bulkhead level with it on on right - that's where it's catching

Them two are looking through the clutch fork opening
Hopefully i'll get the prop chopped down tomorrow and the bellhousing will be free and i can try and free the prop. Am finding myself getting annoyed very quickly and giving up for the day most days. I've still got gear linkages to fab but gave my self sunburn off not using a mask and just shutting my eyes lol. will buy a new mask and get it done
I see why no-one likes changing 360 clutches

What attempts have you made at free it so far other than pulling? With all this time your spending near it, it would be worth spraying pentrating oil, easing spray or shock and unlock from halfords, it might over a day or two soak in and help (not the latter though), I find in work most things come apart with it, and I've stripped some rotten stuff so far!
Is there any flange you can hit with a coal chisel? you COULD try smacking the end of the prop, i know this seems wrong but it could shock the splines
But you might already have tried this
You could cut the brake line, and just renew it, the car is off the road anyway.
How much can you move the bell housing?

Matt,
I got 3 welding masks the one darken itself.
So if you come and get it, you can have 1 with batteries in it. Provided you give me a chopped up torque with prop!
Cheers

Evoman - Aye its had 2 cans of penetrating oil in the last 4 days, had to use it on all the bolts, been on the prop since friday, plenty more on today. Originally we were hammering the engine end of the torque tube backwards, unfortunately the prop didn't move with it. The bellhousing will have to come of anyway to get the clutch back in correct position. Really don't want to cut brake lines, budget is becoming a major factor now and it would add to the re-assembly time. Tried hitting just about everything with a hammer, including a corsa due to being annoyed
The bellhousing moves about 3-5 inches forward and back,up and down and left and right about 1/4" and rotates about 15"
Thinking of jacking the front of the engine up to get the back to clear better if cutting the prop doesn't work. It should, its the only thing there that wouldn't be there when taking the bellhousing off a 360 normally.
Atchi - sounds great! i can bring the torque tube with all but the 8" of prop that's still stuck in the car if you want it when i come up. Would be a massive help mate
Can't wait to have the car back out and test the LSD

I don't know how much you've been hitting it, but check the crank end float and state of the spigot bush/bearing (whatever the 360 uses) before you reassemble it. Can you beg/borrow/steal an engine crane? I'd imagine most of the ancilleries are off already then you can do it in the comfort of the open.

Did you try jacking the engine at the front to rotate the bell housing downwards?
