Gearbox prepped, welded diff fitted.
In she goes...
IN! I made that look easy, this actually took me all day...
All gears tested, seems ok although I couldn't hear anything over the engine shouting through the downpipe.

Brilliant stuff dude. All day to put a gearbox in? Pffft! 
Shocks, springs and blocks and thats it then eh? Twinning at Avonmouth is on the cards for you and me I think! Btw, still want me to fab some blocks up for you?

Once again I'm having massive issues getting the handbrake back together. Had the same issue on the 340, ended up bodging it 
Basically I can't get the adjuster thread to poke out enough to get the nut on... Any suggestions would be helpful.

To do my handbrake I wipped the drums off and tapped the "self adjuster" back off, so there was a lot of slack on the cables. Then slotted the thread through, just enough to get a nut on there.

Can you throw rough estimate of gearbox + diff weight, 60kg?

It's about the weight of 2 bags of cement. I can just about lift it standing up with oil in, I'm not a very big person 60-80kgs sounds right.

She drives! Brakes need a bleed but I'm happy to put her into service as of next week. Soooo happy
