I have a D cam and an H cam, though the price would have to be right for the H-cam as it was hard to track down for a sensible price (I got it when the US-UK exchange rate was massively in our favour) and I wouldn't want to do it again.

Had first "test run" today.. :D :D :D :D
Bled brakes, but pedal still bites close to floor :? No air in system and new master cylinder :(
Haynes manual says that ignition timing can not be adjusted with renix, is this true?

Bleed rear brakes, might need to put one corner up to help air come out, I had that. Do you have compressed air bleeding device? If not take one tyre valve and put that to brake fluid tank cap, add very little of pressure and remember to top it often, helps massively with bleeding. Rear brakes can be problem as there is only one bleed nipple, but I guess you did put some other calipers into yours, so don't know if that applies now, good luck

Renix ignition can't be adjusted. Well, you can get 1-2 degrees by making TDC sensor bolt holes oval or even making some adaptor to that, also you can play with vacuum hose if it gives too much advance just clamp it and it should help a bit.

But perhaps simpliest/easiest might be B19E Bosch module and dizzy+coil, then you could adjust it and spark would be bit stronger as Renix weakens spark on low load.

I have all new brake pipes and brakes. Swapped 240 calipers from dual circuit to single..
Brakes work, pedal just bites low down. I have pressure bled them. :?

Could it be that fluid volume of brake master cylinder is not enough for all those pistons in calipers? It can move only certain amount of fluid and if pistons need to move more than originally, that could cause some issues, but this is just a wild guess.

I'd say that is more than likely, stock master cylinder with the amount of brakes thats been added is going to be having issues to move enough liquid!

240 calipers can have issues with air locking. Have you fully bled each nipple in turn?
