I thought it stood for Seriously Why Purchase
It lives in my mates estate. There's quite a bit of retro hiding in there. Including what I think is a mk1 300zx under a cover.
SO. MUCH. WANT.

Winter is here dude.
Get door knocking. Hand out your phone number.
The cold snap will be thinning out the older motorist population and pickings may be thick.
And theyll all want a gbit extra cash for xmas.

Well spotted. Don't worry about the loss of another 340, all in a good cause...there's no such thing as bad publicity

It's taken a while, but now the 340 has got to age where if you see one in a film now, you know there's going to be a car crash/explosion etc. It won't be long before the makers of films set in the 70's,80's and 90's will be beating a path to our doors!!! After all, how many cars of the 80's and even the 90's are left now after s.crapage

That could be a good subject for another spotted thread....cars spotted on screen.

On a trip through the 'burbs today I've seen two 340 GLs, both in Hayes, Kent. One was a smoke silver F-reg parked up, the other a dark metallic blue H-reg, anyone on here? My other half looked at me strangely when I got excited about seeing two in one day....And on top of that I saw a 1970 Daf 33 aswell, being driven by someone in a hat i.e. old folk

Spotted a D reg 340 this morning in Doncaster. Good reg plate started D340 *** ! Didn't see if it was a 3 or 5 door, dark red metallic, probably a 1.4 manual. First one I've seen since October!

Just seen the gold 360 again I spotted last year in the supermarket car park, nice to see it's still around. Typical, not seen another 300 for 4 months and two come along at once
I only know of 4 in regular use around here, including my parents car, not many in a population of over 100,000 in Doncaster!
If you count my 2 which will both soon be on the road thats 6, so if you scale that up to the whole UK, there must be around 3600 cars left in the UK. So where the hell are they all

Nah there's gotta be 10,000 left at least, I see new ones all the time when I'm travelling around.

I found 4 in Somerset! Silver driving towards Minehead, Red 340DL parked up and Blue Anchor, Beige parked in Minehead itself and another red 340DL but a 3dr!
I've not seen that many in the wild for ages, used to see a lot in Soton but they've all gone in the last 12 months

Saw my first non-Trabitom-or-Daf-Club-owned V300 on German roads the other day in about a year. A white MkIII with a Lamba decal in the front grille so it was probably a 360 GLi. Driven by a very old man. He didn't hear my horn, but the lorry I was driving behind did
