I remember seeing that one for sale a couple of months back ... and I rang up a little too late :?

Congratulations on a fine buy!

Tom
Thanks Tom, yes, I found it in Friedrichdorf/Köppern...I guess I was the first one who was there and I asked for two days to think..I sold my Xsara and bought it. I am so happy I did that, there are really not that many GLT´s with leather around any longer.

I remember the conversation on the phone very well:

Tom: "Hi, I'm ringing about the Volvo. Has it really got leather seats?"
Seller: "Yes, it's fully equipped, including air conditioning!"

T.: "Wow, fantastic!"
S.: "Yes, and Navi, ABS, ESP ..."
T.: "erm ..."
S.: "you were ringing about the V70 weren't you? Oh, the 360, no that sold immediately. Sorry!"

Grüße aus Bonn

Gorgeous. What offset are the ronals? I've found a local place that has some in stock and I believe there are a couple of different ETs available, possibly 37 and 24, might be wrong.

Cheers.

Hi, the Ronals are ET37..but there is still some space left before the arches needs to be rolled...I tried them with 80mm spacers and there was still clearance...but I drive it without the spacers.

Some great pics, liking the GLT... were they standard cars?

The white one was a GLT with a 230K with a B200 head on it on the original fuel injection, and the green one was a GLS with the same engine but with a twin 40 down draft weber from a capri v6.They were both flying machines. The GLT had loadsa low range torque and the GLS had to be revved flat due to the kent cam it had in it.It was lumpy as rice pudding below 3400 but as soon as it got there it pulled straight up to 7500 no probs.I did'nt have a chance to get the carb jetted so it drank like a fish, great fun though.
