Only me and my cat, keeps me a company. Ok while i'm looking for PAS, i need to ensure all the bushes be replaced with orginal or oem, I have bought a few small rubber bushes from local dealers (original) but i'm not sure where to put it. Maybe you guys can list down which parts that have a rubber bush that need to replace, sorry guys really need your advice..

Thanks

Zakaria

This list just about every rubber bush there is but upgraded material to PU http://www.classicswede.co.uk/-Polyurat ... 80905.aspx

I have a complete PAS kit but it does not have the lower part of the steering column but if I am to let it go I will need to take some details off it first.

Hi all, since my last update, I still haven't found PAS from local parts dealer and from scrapyard. sm2 , I found one on the scrapyard nearly the same as 360 but it's from 240. My last option is to go for the police car in KL, 450km from my town, and I still did not receive feedback from my contact. :? . I decide to use back the manual power steering. The project need to continue. I decide to buy manual steering rack coupling and some bushes, let me do this first and worry about the PAS later..
I got the bellow, bush absorber bearing, bumper clip nad steering rack coupling.

Zack,
Are you saying that one of the police cars 'survived' in a scrapyard?
Would it be worth saving?
I once saw one of the 'local' (well in fact Indonesian but they are same specs) policecars in 1985 when I was over there.

Yep..i found out from my cousin, whose father was an ex policeman. It's kept in their store depot, at KL he say there are few of them 360. I'm trying to get at zero cost.. .. I have a high anticipation it's still there, hopefully my cousin know the difference between 240 and 360. Will go there month end. Hope to find goodies. :360:

Zack.

A genuine police car would be very nice to have and they did get a number of upgrades

That's what they say.. in the 80's a lot of 360 patrol car in Malaysia. Sadly most of them ended up in scrapyard. I hope the that i'm after is in good condition, with valid roadtax.

I would love to get a hold of Malaysian police 360, would be a showstopper over here and fit nicely in my collection.
I remember that they were assembled locally in KL from kits sent from Holland during the mid-80's.

I am not sure about the upgrades, it was not like they did over here.
If you go over to see, can you take some pics and note the chassisnumber?

Hi all, unexplained thing to happen today. A friend post a picture of this beauty in facebook. In my country, where I thought it shouldn't be here, and why? And how?. It's Kedah, my state, and in my district, just 25km away!..what is the best opening way to ask the owner to sell it to me..take a look. It's Volvo 360 GLS Coupe.

Take care man or you'll try to buy every 300 series in Malaysia and then you'll have too many to cope with and then you'll have a nervous breakdown and then those bumpers look odd to me - maybe they have swollen in the heat.
