Searching for 406 parts, ebay took pity and offered me:

workshopmanual: to remove the diff undo the 6 bolts on each side and take off the halfshafts

ebay seller: no way man, this manual is stupid. that's too much work! i'll get the grinder...

D561 YPG finished on eBay with no bids on 17th Feb 2010, it was down in Southampton then :wink: (original listing here)

Also cropped up in discussion about 'Olga's' car with the holey rear inner panel, G476 ORN, which seems to have been moved on now. (mentioned here)

Volvo 340, 65k, mucky blue, only quite rusty, at a bargain 600 quid if you buy it now!
