Hello all fellow nutters and 360/340 fanatics. I'm currently restoring a 360 GLT and the more I'm fixing, the more I'm finding problems...does this sound familiar.
I just put all new bulbs in most lights only to find out that only 4 across the back work.
These are the park passanger side and brake passanger side

Both indicator lights work .

The drivers side park light blew straight away

No reverse lights at all

Front light are continually on ......do not know whether that is a Volvo thing or whether park lights are meant to be on.

Does anyone have these same or similar issues. The rest of the electrics are fine... ish. Interior light work, dash light work etc

Can anyone send suggestions please.....or should I just call an auto electrician.

Volvo 360's in Australia weren't highly regarded, I grew up driving my Dad's 360 GLE injection in Good old Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire. I know reside in Queensland and decide to spread the word of the 360GLT where ever I go..

Lights blowing should probably only be caused by a high voltage on the alternator, the bulb should be rated to the max 14v, or possibly a really intermittent connection, or just bad luck and a bulb expired.

Its common to have bad contacts with corroded sockets, give them a rub down with wet and dry.

Reverse lights can be problems with switch in the gear lever area.
