Aye lol. FJ told me they may be different, but I got a mk3 one FOC so gave it a bash. Damn reverse lense fell off my mk1/2 (a common fault!) Took me ages to find another, and when I did i had to 'make' a new one.

Take one donor with smashed indicator. Add careful use of Dremmel plus patience
Et voila!

putting the new type of lights on an car wich had the old lights goes perfect

but with the old lights on a new car you'll have to figure out your licenceplate lightening, on the oldies this was in de bumper but i believe you can make a very pretty stealth lightening if you put a few LED's under the bootlid and so keep the bumper clean

Ah yeah. Good point dude! I never had to worry about it because as you say the no. plate lights are in the bumper on mine.

They are 100% the same size though, as said. 340pw
