Any ideas which way the nut should be turned (anti or clock wise) to release this nut so i can remove the track rod end?

The nut which holds the TRE to the steering arm or the nut that locks the TRE onto the track rod?

Doesn't really matter as they are not handed. Anticlockwise, but it does of course depend which way you are looking at it...

Looking from the outer end in towards the car that would be winding it clockwise.

Normal anticlockwise.

If the stud is turning aswell, jack the car with the jack under the track rod end until it stops turning.
