Can't seperate hub and disc

Today tried to renew my discs and pads. Pretty straight forward eh? Everything removed after the destruction of a socket and much hammering and fire.
I removed the 4 allen key bolts from the back of the disc attaching it to the hub and expected everything to fall away at this point. Nothing. Not even a creak, so I hammer away with harder hammers and still nothing seperates. I've even tried hammering the two screwdrivers in from the side as you can see below. Both of these are now stuck so I'm happy that they are hammered in enough. Which way is the disc meant to come away? I'm guessing backwards but it appears that the part of the hub that extends towards the car (as seen on the left hand one below) is too thick for the disc to part that way.

Have I missed something catastrophically important or are they just rusted solid? What are my options? I'm not panicking too much because I can just put new pads on without a disc change. However I'd rather not:

Halp plz
