what size is clutch plate for 360 gearbox!?

Hi,

I bought 360 gearbox for my future project off Adam AKA 340R.
I would like to know what clutch diameter Volvo 360 uses and also what system is used for the clutch lever.
I will be fitting this geabox setup to Suzuki Swift Gti engine with Turbo charge setup.
I think I will be using Swift flywhel with HD pressure plate, but if spline and input shaft size is no go for clutch diameter. I have to come up with some other plan.

Your help/advice will be much appriciated as I have no idea about Volvo gearbox and so on.
Last Volvo I had was 480ES which I liked very much but it wasn't RWD!
I'm thinking of fitting this setup into a small hatch FWD car and then make it into RWD with space frame.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers
Atchi

Haynes - Clutch plate diameter = 215mm

Also bit confused by the request. 360 gearbox is nowhere near the clutch. The clutch housing is attached to the engine, the gearbox is at the back of the car attached to the diff separated by torque tube driveshaft. No idea how you would fit that to a FWD car.

The original poster is convering a small FWD car to RWD with spaceframe chassis, I assume wants to use a 300 gearbox for weight distribution

Hi,

OK, so I got all of the goodys I need to make my car RWD.
What I will be doing it to fir Suzuki Swift Gti engine into space frame a small hatch.
So instead of having engine right to left, I will fit my engine in north to south.
Then use correct size clutch plate for my flywheel with correct size spline dia meter and number of splines.
By doing this, I can use 360 gearbox with bell housing modded to fit my engine.

Here is a link with BMW gearbox with a Turbo Swift Gti engine.

I'm not at all as good as him but I'm making my Mini with Swift Gti engine and gearbox.

I'm collecting all of the parts while I can get it reasonably easy.
I think std clutch for Swift is 180 or 190mm.
