I bought these a while back for my other car, knowing that one of them was broken, but not really aware how badly.

Then I got thinking that they could be used to adapt the front suspension on the Volvo.

The parts that are unaffected would give you a set of threaded cylinders with the bits to adjust the length of the spring, springs and a set of adjustable top mounts.
