I have found a 1988 300 series saloon abandoned in a car park, spec follows:
Sunfroof
Full Leather Interior
Electric Windows
Electric Mirrors
Alloys (Volvo)
Welding on sill (not uncommon eh)
Bodywork looks good
Its tax ran out April 2004, although I am interested in the parts it looks too good to dismantle.
If I can get the info would anyone be interested in taking it on as a salvage from the DVLA (should be free or nominal admin fee)
I will go after it now, and I am willing to hand it over (even though I am tempted in the electircs ). If someone wants it for parts I will negotiate bit and pieces with them
be prepared to run fast! Seriously though, that is an excellent find and its great you can share it with us. Unfortunately I can't really take it - have a 360 of my own and not enough space. If you don't fancy it for yourself, there will be someone here!
i'd be up for the whole interior - door cards, seats.. i've already got all the lectric toys.. might be worth taking some piccies to see if any of us find anything unusual there

Yes I think I could manage that, one thing with the interior is the drivers seat has seen a bit of action (if you know what I mean) but if you can live with it (or get it looked at (I know someone who can do that)).
Honestly though the car still looks too good to break for parts, although I will go down that route if thats where it leads.
Wouldnt worry about wear on the drivers seat, theres an article somewhere here of restoring a leather interior... I seem to remember boot polish was used in cracks, the results are stunning!
Good work! What a find, and someone appears to have dumped it, with those extras!?! It is amazing how so many cars with leather are popping up now, and I still don't have a leather interior. One day maybe. As Steve says, definitely worth checking for aircon. If only I had more room, imagine what it would be like then, as if it isn't bad enough already!
Pete
I am interested if the price is right. Leccy windows and mirrors are on my "to rip out and install" list.
Do I need to replace the whole mirror? Mine are color coded so I would like to keep the outer shell.
And what about the windows... what parts of that do I needfor the conversion? I would like to keep the package as small and light as possible.

What's boot polish? Boot like in boots -> big shoes?
Well... dont sit on the seats while wearing white pants when you've used that...
