valve timing adjustment is possible!

Post by CBA »

Looking for a tensioner. anything used or new. Could someone go to the trouble of finding me one on ebay? i've only got mobile phone internet and its so hard and frustrating. Just cheap do.the.job is all i want. Can't find a fairly priced one. A timing belt kit under 50 quid will do but i just can't find one. Please please help. Otherwise i'll have to goto mot retest with a ticking timebomb.

There's one on ebay for £58, nothing cheaper I'm afraid.

both tensioner and idler can be moved (and secured), moving idler left or right pulls cam pulley 5 degrees left or right! - belt is remaining in new condition. stephescope reports quiet smooth bearings in all timing components, starting is much easier.

cam cover needed to be belled out at the idler since it takes a big nut.

photo when I can get it.

must make new thread.
