as topic. she failed her mot today so has about a week left i think. failed on a rear foglight bulb, front aim of a headlight (i can fix that) the rear left hand side brake isnt working quite well enough (quote £30), and rust on both sills (quote £170). other than that she's in good nick.. very reliable, and just did 370 miles on a single tank of fuel..

she comes with a full tank, and 2 months tax, for free. she has a slightly wobbly speedo, and the rear passenger side door has a bit of rust (not an mot fail by any means). everything else works as it should except the drivers side lumbar support - she's got a few minor dents but hardly anything.. i'm in brighton, can maybe deliver her for a ride back home. she's a 'c' reg volvo 340 gl 1.4, in the older, rarer 'mk2' style. she was washed and polished last weekend. i did 1600 miles to the south of france and back with her a month ago, and she didnt need *anything*

cheap insurance, safe, and full oh character.. let me know if you want her.

Hi there , I wonder Where the sills are rusted as you can have them patched rather than replaced. I could ask my 340 specialist for a quote if you have any pics of the sills. I t may also be worth taking it to a less fussy mot place.
It would also be usefull archive material as I am surveying the rust points on 340,s. Mine is poor on the rear cross member .
