Hi mate,
Just joined up on here today! i'll be up for a meet as soon as i pick up my new beast ! 340 1.7 with a boot, bog standard 56000 mile from new and one owner !
Wont stay standard for long though ! Will be getting it either this friday or weekend after next.

Hi mate
i may be able to meet some time next week, gotta sort the front brakes on the volvo the weekend as my missus is using it till i get her another car then the fun can begin! Its a bit hard giving a time to meet as i work away at short notice sometimes but we'll get there in the end!! I'll PM you my number as i dont always have net avalible.

Anyone fancy a 300 meet in or around Essex somewhere near the third or fourth week of August, 2012 ??
I ask only because I will be in the area visiting DAF friends in Colchester around that time (and I might even be driving a 343 during the trip, if all goes well).

hello bud i only joined today but i more then willing to have a meet im from ipswich & i know a few people with 340/60 that would be willing!

2nd Sunday each month @ the Orwell Crossing Truck Stop ( A12 going east - over the Orwell Bridge - just past the Ipswich E turning. This is the regular haunt of the bearded old farts from the Suffolk & Essex section of the VOC (well I'm there - so V3M is there in spirit as well as the VOC).
Really we're just petrol heads of all ages. Meet from 10.30 on - leave when bored. But we ALWAYS have lunch - their food is like no other truck stop!!!
Anybody is welcome - next meet this Sunday 8th.April
