finally got the wheel bearing sorted and now the speedo has gave in. Its starting to get a little bit annoying lol. Im guessin and hoping if i change the cable it will sort it out

Make sure the cable is fitted in the wheel correctly and routed properly otherwise the speedo does stop working.

oh right so it might of just popped out when the bearing went. Makes sense now i think about it lol. I'll have a look. Thanks for that

Also make sure the circlip thats holds the end piece in the bearing cover cup is on. It will work without it but it may come out or not provide any drive for the cable, it may also wear out the square hole, again losing drive for the cable.
