Despite researching the subject, it seems I have so far failed in my journey to an uprated clutch.

I purchased a 740 Turbo pressure plate a while ago which I thought fitted the LH 2.4 flywheel. Turns out mine doesn't







Obviously the silver one is the 740 job, black is a 360 item. What's gone wrong then?

Whilst not being able to help you... I had the same problem last week with mine on the valver. Wish clutches were cheaper for when this happens

Yeah Chris it is infuriating! What happened with yours, I thought it would be common knowledge - on here at least - what to run and you of all people would be one of the ones to get it right! Or was it a supplier issue?

Nice 16v badge btw. I have noticed your avi loads of times, but I guess it looks that factory that it just blends in.

Mine was a supplier problem, I got a late 480turbo set up rather than an early (215mm rather than 200) It suits me fine, just means I'll whip out the early 200mm turbo pressure plate that's in Kar, and swap the flywheels over (as I have a late flywheel laying round).

Actually, from memory the trigger pattern is the same, could put the late flywheel in Fake That's sort some of my slippage issues too

The supplier at fault here appears to be me.
