Hello guys.
I have a spare B14.4E in my garage and a lot of free time. Can somebody please tell me how can I transform it into a turbo engine ?
Maybe even a list of parts that I need.
Thank you.

Re: B14.4E turbo
i'd personally leave the B14 where it is and use it as a parts-donor, and take a C1J lump from a Renault 5 GT Turbo.
all the parts you need, and it's all bolt on and will handle more power and boost than the standard B14.4E
the only thing you;ll have to fabricate (with any turbocharged B14) is the exhaust manifold and downpipe/exhaustline

Re: B14.4E turbo
For the B14 spare parts are everywhere in Romania because the engine is the same as the Dacia 1300's one.
I want to keep it clean and use the B14 even it's harder.
Anyway in Romania we have some legislation issues about changing the engine of the car.

Re: B14.4E turbo
My experience is that a stock B14 can handle a bit of boost well - if the fuelling is right 0.7 bar shouldn't be a problem at all... Just build a suitable exhaust manifold or an adaptor to fit the turbo to the standard manifold and get a carburettor that works with boost (or convert to fuel injection) and you should be good to go... Next step in my book would be to get the pistons, liners and crankshaft from the 1.6l version - I'm using that crank on my B14 Turbo and it's working well. Nice with a bit of extra torque before the turbo kicks in!
