2. Do you drive to the shops, in second gear, sideways? (probably as youre Norwegan)
If 1 or 2 in correct, stop it and see if this helps.

Re: cops
Put horrible scabby steel wheels on.
Police are probably stopping you based on the awesomeness of your wheels.
And try a grey wig, so you look like an old fart.

We haven't even got snow forecast yet here in the UK! last year the north east was hit by it on 24th November... winter seems a bit more mild so far this year.

Re: cops
If your vehicle is not a gray mass, then you are suspicious automatically, loud exhaust, any tuning and bigger than original wheels are stop magnet, probably somewhere in their tactics book there is mention to keep young drivers stopped often as when I was younger I got stopped often, even driving sensible way, but today I can do anything and they do ignore me, probably driving a car that partly fits in to grey mass helps and the fact that we really don't have police on our roads anymore, only few busiest places, but mostly cameras have taken over and their plan is to double those in few years or so, which means there really is no police anywhere except in larger cities and during holiday weekends on biggest roads, rest is pretty much wild west and not only because of traffic.
Driving style of course is one factor, if engine can be heard or nose dives / there is more wheelspin than movement, they like to spy and try to find something to give you ticket.
Last time I was stopped was 2007, two police man were taking a leak on rest area next to highway, I overtook some really slow 'train puller' which they probably heard more than saw, I was perfectly within legal limits all the time, but they sen message to another patrol ahead and they claimed I was stopped because of missing license plate and then apologized and told they did not see it, from their angle if they did not see 240's rear license plate, then they must be blind, true meaning of stop was to 'spook' me as here overtaking starts to be big no no, you should be go by the slowest in a line all the time.
Before that it was around 2003, I was stopped twice same day as they were taking breathe tests on two spots on my route, less than mile apart that was, between them was mostly railway bridge surely someone may take bit of power drink between those two places
1998 I think there was similar thing, but there was bit more distance between them, however I don't think those count as they did stop everyone of them and driving a brown van at very early morning is such thing that you will get tested 100% guaranteed.
When I was a teen I was stopped almost weekly and I was driving just a moped. Oddly I managed to avoid most of the attention during early years of my car driving, while all others got stopped all the time, but never had big wheels or loud exhaust pipes, also cars were boring gray mass, even my driving was not
Oh forgot the thing, there was my first own car that has loud exhaust and it did blow quite a lot of blue smoke too, however it had very rusty wheels and tiny tires, car was slow but used quite little petrol as it burned so much oil instead.
It is quite much a choices one makes that affects how much he is stopped, oh and if one manages to get on their keep one eye list, surely then you get stopped always they spot you, it is easy, have car that is gathering attention because of being loud or ugly and then get into argument with police. Had a friend once that had car which had certain sex equipment as a hood ornament among many other things and bit of an attitude so he was constantly pulled over.
Never had trouble with them really, always polite and so, but I'm not too much fan of rules which they must follow, those are made so that if you are not one of gray mass then you get attention from them, but it is here in whole society in everything one must blend or get the crap, you are free to say and think what you like as long as it is what is general opinion, that is Finnish freedom, it is not too far from Chinese freedom really.
We had snow few days ago here, very tiny bit though, something like 1mm, but was there from late evening to next day and only for next morning it was gone, it does count as first snow, I think. Western winds have been stronger this year so there has not been much of snow and cold yet, there are lot of opposing forecasts so nobody really has no idea, they just try to forecast their own opinions or affect public opinion, our official weather station put out news that it has been warmer than in 50 years, but 4 years ago it was so that people moved their lawns at beginning of December, while it has been lot of frost here already, they do it almost every year, as they claim winter will be warm and south will not get white Christmas, every year same story and even next day's weather is usually way off, so whatever they forecast I take as humorous fiction. Forecast for few days ago was -2C for then next night, reality was -7.6C, their monitoring station did read -5C as it is always bit off by night, but monthly report is often not showing that, but closer to -2C, must be some wisdom there that I'm just not able to quite understand, some correction factors perhaps.
Anyway this autumn has been much better than few previous ones, it has been hugely expensive years because of heating bills, hopefully this one will not see monthly average temps close to -20C like previous years.
tim-andre, you surely don't get much of bright part of day anymore at this time of year? Depends of course how north you live, even in here during mid day there is a lot less light than during summer, sun is not rising above trees that surround my home, so whole yard is in the shadows during the day, I don't think they see sun up north anymore, until the next spring. Because of our stupid clock adjusting scheme dark here comes earlier than during early autumn, or more appropriately early autumn dark comes late.

Re: cops
my car has its spots and bruises around, but my rims and exhaust are original, and it makes as much noise as it should, i painted my rims black thou, to hide some of the swedish chrome, other than that they are just ordinary steel rims.
i drive sensible, even thou im just 20, other youths my age drive like idiots, i say its a time and place for everything, and skidding around in heavy trafick isnt the time or place.
and im always nice to the cops, even thou they called my moose stupid and i had to take it away, and they seem to follow me around anyway.
kinda get stopped 2-3 times a month now, sometimes as often as 2 times a week, first time was 9 hours after i got my licence
gets dark here because of the fog right now, usually gets dark around 17:00

You are probably on some of their lists, can't see why they would comment anything about moose, especially it is not their job to tell what is stupid and what is not, all they should care is from traffic safety etc. Anyone can be as stupid for some other's opinion as they like as long as there are no danger or bother to others, that is how I think it should be and I think most of the time is in here.
Maybe your car has been previously been someone's who has not been quite honest with the law and that has made you into their list too just by getting that very car?
But then, maybe it is some policy there to bother car enthusiasts, I have read pretty weird stuff being happened there, so maybe they try to bother car enthusiasts so much that they would stop liking cars and driving. Some car owner here borrowed car for someone he knew, just so happened that one who drove the car was driving under influence of alcohol in Norway with that car, what did happen was that person who owned the car got much bigger trouble in that that who did drive a car, even he was at Finland, law of Norway has it's own oddities for sure when it comes to cars, I have gotten impression that there one really should not think anything more from car than it being disposable every day item, bit of same is here too, but it is only at cities where situation here is starting to be quite bad.
Re: cops
teddy-moose
had it hanging at the back of my car
last owner seemed like a good guy, but i know where he is from, and people from there drives interesting, so that may be right
norway has some pretty stupid rules about this.. and hanging around in our cars isnt allowed around here anymore, we car enthusiast have to hide at places or get chased away..
actually did one demonstration against this, and about 80-100 cars were driving about 40km/h at the highway, and that made the cops stay of our asses for a while
