Looks like it would polish up nicely. Rust or no rust is of course the big question mark regards price. If not, now a rare beast indeed, boot stripes and all!

I'm not convinced that the 3drs look as good as the 5drs in a mk2 GLT. I can't put my finger on it, but something's not quite right with them. Lower-spec ones look fine, but not GLTs. I'm far from set on the issue, either way.

That has the potential to be a really nice car...

The problem is some things just dont look quite right with this one, it may clean up fine but I'm scared of rust on this :lol:

I haven't checked the pics in detail, but the ad does look good. One owner, garage, low mileage ... The most desireable 300-variant too IMHO (bar R-Sports of course).
