front Heat shield on 360 GLT exhaust
Is the top material made of asbestos?. I'm looking at changing the vibration damper and noticed this material on top of the heat shield. Does anyone know?

I don't know what it is made of, however i would have thought
asbestos would not be allowed nowdays.

I was told to spray it with black heat shield paint....apparently it seals it (if it were to be asbestos)

I'm pretty sure asbestos was banned in UK in like '60-'70 sort of time
