Totally reliable and will be a sad loss to the family. Must go to a good home that will care and tender her. This Volvo is totally genuine and includes heated front seats that actually work, velour seating (just like your grans settee!) Original Volvo stereo radio /cassette player, electric front windows, electric door mirrors, headlight wash/wipe and front head restraints covered in velour. The vast majority parts of this car are original. This Volvo had a manual choke installed from new as my Dad was old school driver! All repairs and garage bills are documented, with the exhaust system and the petrol pump being the last parts replaced. She is starting to show her age now but you will be hard pushed to find a better totally original Volvo 340 north of Watford gap, and this one is waiting for you just where you want it, in the Midlands (Nottingham)
The only reason I am selling this beautiful motoring heritage on behalf of my dear mother is that she no longer drives (thank goodness!) and we have no room to keep her. Therefore she must go to a new home, the Volvo that is!

Thanks guys for the kind comments, I'm assuming you've seen the pics. Yes, given the choice I would keep her, but I've not got the room at home. I started her up for the first time in months this morning , and she fired up first time. Amazing car . Lets hope she goes to a good home, maybe someone whos as enthusiastic as you guys. She deserves it. Got a guy coming to view already on Sunday........... will keep you posted.

Hi guys, i've had a few questions on the condition of this original Volvo. As i said it is 22 years old and starting to show her age so for those who have poor eye sight i've added close up photos of the not so good bits, to save anyone a journey looking for an A1 showroom condition car at this price. IMO it wouldn't take much to brings her up to showroom condition, but i dont have the room or time to do it.

Hi guys, for those who are still looking for a Volvo 1.7 GL, or even loads of very good parts you just might be in luck now. I really need to make room at home and this car needs to go to a new home now. I should have let her go earlier but didnt have the heart but i can count the number of miles ive done in her this year on my hand......saying that she fires up first time a drives as she should, gracefully. MOTd to April 25th 2013 tax runs out end of this month.
