Forget the Volvo/Draper etc pin removal tools. All you need it below:
Door removal kit as modeled on the 343 that I/Ben/John bought.
The pro kit (smooth bar would be better, but I had this lying around)

Top pin

Bottom pin

Instructions
Estimated time, 2-5 mins per door. Remember to remove the chck strap first! Same to refit.

See me after I get back from Deutschland. I've got the tool and loads of pins here.

I can get the top one out easy enough, not sure how the bottom one come out all the way going down though. I had to pull it up with the draper tool which is only good for a couple of pins.
What are you trying to do exactly?

I presume its the top pin, Sounds like you have hammered the broken pin section past the joint in the hinge. If you have time drop down and I'll have a go.

Hello, I covered this very subject extensively in my blog, just last year.
