im guessing the engine aint that picky on what carbs its running on, just how the mixture of fuel and air
webers will be fine i think, easy to adjust, gives some more power, but i would have chosen delorto ones instead, harder to aadjust, but gives more power for the money

What sort of power would you be looking at and what carbs would be suitable, twin port etc...

Foggy ran his 360 on twin webbers? Might be worth asking him about gains. Cant recall anyone having a reliable, usable bike carb set up on a 300 though.
Intake manifold is pretty much your biggest problem, as they are not produced.
Custom costs pennies.

Isn't the problem here you havn't got a license, so the insurance is going to sting you for anything?
Manifolds don't exist, so it's cheaper to drop in an F7x. F7x's are however expensive to insure. As I've said quite a lot on here, I'd go with a B18KP setup from a 400.

dont know how much
2 twin port (weber/delorto) or 4 single port (bike carbs)
manifold for the bike carbs you can make yourself btw, only need some silicone hoses/tubes to fit the carbs to the manifold, adjusting the carbs takes a long while to do also
