Help needed engine conversion clio fuelling ??

Post by olliehood »

As said in title will be doing engine conversion soon and i cant seem top find anything on fuelling ...

I guess you just plumb in a 3 bar wallbro or other inline pump and then a pressure regulator set to 3 bar into the wiring system through the ecu ?

a basid over vue would be great and maybe a little help with wiring.

Cheers

Pretty much yeah. The fuel rail already has a pressure reg on it, the big cap thing opposite end to the two hose fittings . Your best bet is to take it off the ecu feed for the pump's power, as you then have the ecu controlling the pump. can't remeber what colour it is now, but I'll try and have a look tomorrow.

Yeah perfect . so i just connect one end of the pump to the feed that comes out of the sender in the tank then continue through the pump and one out to the pressure reg on end of the fuel rail ?

Change the whole front to rear line to modern rubber fuel hose thats made to take 3 bar lol :P

You ever had any problems with fuel starvation due to the standard tank not being baffled ?

I run an in tank pump, with a non standard filter so the pump sits as low as possible. I don't get any starvation.
