Well I got a bit done in the downtime, but it seemed that some others were getting the shakes bad.
Anyway, thanks for the repairs and I look forward to this being a chopped pork 'n' ham free place.

I wish I could say that I had great stories of Volvo 300 glory that took place in the missing days to share with you all, but I don't.
I did manage to do some 300-ing yesterday on a day off though. I put a skim of filler on BHX's welded wing and clean up some surface rust on Bjorn's front chassis. I also went to visit PGH in its garage and gave it a bit of a run for the first time in 2 months, but discovered that the engine was a bit grumbly, being shivery on idle and cutting out in traffic

. I have ordered new leads and plugs and will sort out an oil change and service soon - I didn't do an oil change in 2012 as the car barely travelled anywhere since the previous oil change.

) The other thing I managed was to bag a couple of bumpers for Abby.

Aye, well done Mods.
I have been checking this place a few times a day as I am trying to get in touch with Attack2001.

I organised a trailer to ship my stricken old daily 360 to somewhere where the valuable bits can be taken off (A/C and bodykit). And my green GLT has a fresh MOT!
Lots done in 3 days

I concur! thanks guys. just opening and not seeing spam its like oh thank jebus lol. anyways i made some 300 progress too. i have 3 of 4 16" wheels on and replaced the right hand bumper mount as it was bent from when my blood pressure dropped a bit, replaced my head lights and indicators and put my spare white front bumper on. so pretty productive.
ps does anyone know how to prolong headlight chrome life? mine are immaculate at the moment and i wouldn't mind keeping them that way.

Make sure the water stays out of them!
I made some super secret stealth 300 progress (solely as it's a long term project and there is no point me mentioning bits and pieces)

I'm also very happpy that the board is running again, with no spammers contamination anymore... It was a bit more difficult than expected, some corrupted tables to repair, sorry for these 4 days interruption. But it was very critical and necessary for the future of the board.
This morning I made an easy test to have an idea how bad the situation is with spammers attacks. When all is the security is turned off (only CAPTCHA module running), it takes only 15 SECONDS to see the first fake registration... Can you believe this? This is quite horriying, there are attacks continuously... I'll will monitor the new system and the access code will be regularly changed if needed. Btw what do you think about this new system?
It's a bit more demanding now because you can't get the answer to the security check if you only read the question during the registration process, you need to search the access code... Of course ineffective with real human spammers but it will help!

I can't agree more! Many thanks for spending the time to fix the forum, I hadn't realised how much time I actually spend on here!
Matt.

Realy glad that we are back up and running.
My only concern is that some real members will be put of joining as they are no savy enough to work it out. I have had problems registering on some site as the CAPTCHA is impossible to read.
Well done to Aymat and the team for sorting this out
