Does anyone know what if anything is different between B14 (late) and B172 rads ?. My initial assumption was that they would be different but most aftermarket suppliers offer the same part for both. Some however suggest differences and charge considerably more for a B172 (Northern Rads).

Yes I know, having both, I can go and look, measure etc, but I'm still suffering with GE and it's cold and wet outside.

There is no doubt that both fit both but I've heard a rumour that the B172 is a two row and the B14 a three row ?

the connections, height and length are exactly the same, the 1.7 rad is just a bit less thick than the 1.4 one
