I'm trying to remember the last time a Mk1 S model came up for sale in Germany. There was an Austrian one, a year or two back, but that was a 343. And that extremely dead R-Sport sometime last year.

With a (lot) of work, it could be made to look like JDT's car:

Have to say if someone wanted to restore a 300, it'd definitely be worth saving something like this! Love the bonnet stripe on JDT's car!

On a whole new level of 300-series geekery... I never knew you could get different coloured floor trays? They look brown in the interior pic...

Steve, I love your attention to detail :-)

Just checked up in the brochures, the "moulded style" of floor trays were available from 1980 on, in black, grey, blue and ... brown. Brown was dropped within a few years, and from the mid 80's you were offered "any colour you like, as long as its grey".
