360 running gear on a 340

Hi all can you fit all the 360 running I.e gearbox,diff,and subframe onto a 340? As I'm planing on put a b230 block with a b234 16v head in mine if any one can help with info cheers all

Yes, there are some other threads on the differences, but basically the 360 engine/prop shaft/gearbox/diff is one solid lump that attaches to the car body and rear drive wheels, through mounts that should be attachable to the 340 body with minimal effort.

I can't comment on the 16V engine, but I guess it should be compatible with the 360 bell housing if it fits 200/700/900 bell housings, with appropriate flywheel.

The shell will need minor modification to fit if you use the 360 crossmember as the captive nuts are not there. Same in the front, the captive nuts are not there for the front engine mounts.

Oh ok have you got pics of how you done yours just so I've got a idea on whats what cheers
