ive recently bought a 340 with a damaged front valance
is it possible to buy a new front valance or will i have to make and weld one together?
also will this affect the m.o.t?

Not available unfortunately. Not sure about MOT, its not structural so you might get away with it. There have been some threads on repairs, I depanelled and repaired mine by combining 2 cars, but made a mistake when reassembling, as a result the wing interface had a big gap. It was easy enough to fix but took a day.

couldnt find a body ref code for that part anywhere.
might start a thread when i get round to repairing it
i bet a lot of the lowered cars have bashed in valances nowadays

If the original is not too mangled you could depanel, and get a panel beater to straighten it, then reweld it back together. More than likely it will need welding repairs aswell.

... if its only the lower edge that is dented or rusted, a welder can repair them in-situ.
